Ready-to-use gel for indoor and outdoor ant control. The product can be applied as spot bait (drop) only in places where children and non-target animals cannot access. In food and feed facilities to be applied in cracks and crevices. Alternatively the product can be placed in approved bait stations.
Advion Ant Gel Ant Bait is specially formulated to be attractive to many species of ants such as but not limited to the following:
Black or garden ant (Lasius niger)
Pharaoh ant (Monomorium pharaonis)
Argentine ant (Linepithema humile)
Ghost ant (Tapinoma melanocephalum)
Other controlled items:
Paratrechina longicornis,
Pheidole megacephala,
Myrmica rubra,
Crematogaster spp,
Tetramorium spp
Camponotus spp.
Dose and frequency of application:
1 to 5 bait points (small blobs) or 1 bait point (big blob) or 1 fine bait line up to 5 cm long per square meter. meter corresponding to 0.1 to 0.5 grams of product per square meter.
When the product is applied in spots the diameter of each drop can be:
(a) 5mm corresponding to a drop weight of about 0.1g (small drop)
(b) 10 mm corresponding to a drop weight of about 0.4 g (large drop)
When the product is applied in a thin line the width of the line will be 0.3mm and the weight 0.4g approximately (for a 5cm line).
Also, the product can be placed inside bait stations to prevent children or non-target animals from accessing it.
Baits should be inspected every 7-14 days to see if they have been consumed by the ants and should be renewed when necessary.
