Pherodis Tuta Absoluta Trap (capsule)

Pherodis dispensers release a racial pheromone or lure for a specific species and should be used in conjunction with an insect trap, the type of trap depends on the species to be monitored. The sex-specific pheromone lures the target parasite males into the trap. Trapping males also helps reduce the number of eggs laid by females as they fail to mate. For some pests, Pherodis distributors contain lures that attract both sexes of the target species.
